- Carer: "It's interesting how views on certain technologies have changed over time. I remember that when I was a child there were often discussions about the future of energy supply. Did you also have such conversations in your family?" - Mrs Kuran: "Oh yes, those were exciting times! There were many lively discussions in our family, especially when new technologies emerged that were considered revolutionary. Some were excited about the possibilities that these developments brought - almost as if they could lead us to a better future. On the other hand, there were always concerns, especially when thinking about the long-term impact and security."

- Carer: "I remember that in the 1990s there was a lot of talk about how everything in Europe would change. Many people had high hopes that this would strengthen peace. Did you also have the feeling that something new was emerging, or were you sceptical?" - Mr Andrew: "Yes, it was an exciting time! I found it fascinating how many countries came together to overcome their differences and pull together. But I also remember that there were concerns, especially when it came to the euro and the economic differences."
